Maybe Manuel Diaz lives there as he owns a big tree farm in Homestead.

Many of the better architects make beau coup bucks and could easily afford that place, so my curiosity is not focused so much around the monetary "legitimacy" of the owner, but if there is a story behind that house, weird rumors, interesting anecdotes and such. Was the architect a Freemason? This clearly is no ordinary mansion, geometrically speaking.

The house is in the Redlands, so the land is cheaper out there first off. It probably didn't cost him all that much to build the house. He's the architect probably, no cost there. He probably has connections to builders, contractors, suppliers, etc. So he probably got things at a good price vs a regular buyer.

Thanks for the link to the video, pretty cool house... Yeah I think this guy probably rented it.

Big time architects don't remain LOCAL. The only world renowned architect in MIAMI who MIGHT afford such house is Brescia. Have in mind, though, that most of his money doesn't come from his architecture means, on the contrary, he comes from a very powerful and prestigious Peruvian-North Italian business family, who have been part of the south american elite since the early 20th century.
This and he also married one of the most powerful women in New York...

No Local architect in Miami has such elitist and prestigious background in society.

This local architect you are talking about is definitely doing something else. Plus we don't even know his name... so the question remains as: how can an nameless local architect afford a house like that?

My home is invisible from the air, it looks just like an empty lot because of the trees and the greenroof.

He is a Miami architect. It's a partnership from what I remember. I think they do buildings. I remember the office was on the beach or downtown. I was surprised that he would build his house such a distance from the office. Really, it's not that outrageously expensive. There are a lot pricier homes, especially waterfront properties. You can find out the owner's info on the Dade County property appraiser's website. Records are public as Hialeah_Rules mentioned.

Yeah, but don't you have to have the exact address to do that?

The place looks like a water processing plant.

No. All you need is an adress close to the area. Like others said, everything here is public, you can find out everything, even if they financed their property or took a second mortgage

I know many people who others think they are wealthy and when you look at that website, they refinanced their properties and took second mortgages like crazy. I don't know but if you apply for a $20k increase on a home loan, chances are you dont have any assets. But this place is full of posers and idiots who believe them just because they see them driving a luxury car.

I know all of you are aware of the old "fake gas station" trick some people do here in Miami. Well, I think this is just like that but the other way around.

But the most obvious conjecture I can come up with is that the house is actually owned by a group rather than a single person. They only use a name to figure on the front row.
