You guys need to stop with this crap. We Cubans built Miami and transformed it from a holiday hick town to a cultural and financial Mecca and the envy of the rest of the world.

If you don't like it LEAVE BRO!

Live fabulous, forever reppin' the 305!

You'll have it YOUR way though as you run all the white people out and then you'll be looking to get out yourself as even people like you will find this rathole uninhabitable.

Miami is only an incremental upgrade from Havana and Bogata. Congrats, it's almost just like home now.

If sure this is exactly what the founders of Miami had in mind. " Let's make Miami an island in the Caribbean and fill it with degenerates".

Future of Miami? MORE of what's already here now and has ruined the place for anyone who has even an ounce of civility about them.

Lucky for Miami, the Porn industry is coming so you can add that to the drug resume.

Miami, built on drugs and Porn and soon 100% immigrants from 3rd world countries.

Lovely...and if you didn't inherit the beach here, you'd be eating coconuts and each other.

San Antonio has always been a majority Hispanic city, founded by the canary islanders(spain) back in 1731. A great city and very strong economically...but its not at all rare...Houston is more Hispanic than white or black as well...I am sure there is a long list. Miami is a beautiful city with so many geographical advantages...So much of what I am reading on here is just fear based ignorance and hate. Miami has a great future ahead regardless of the tint of its peoples skin...

Not at all accurate to put Havana and Bogota in the same sentence. Worlds apart really.

But I don't get it exactly. I read your posts in the thread below and you seemed to like Miami when you first arrived (or first scouted it out).

What happened to turn you so strongly against it?

Yep, Here's how it goes.

OMG were are moving to Miami!!!
OMG were in Miami!!
OMG were in Miami and can't wait to get out!!!!!!!!

It varies from transplant to transplant, but usually within a few months, sometimes a year in rare cases to make the full transition from love to loath.

Fantasy of Miami and reality of Miami are two very different things and you don't realize the impact on your daily lives of the residents until you are living here.

Patina turns to seedy. You come here to embrace the culture but you find yourself not wanting to embrace it after all. The beautiful Spanish language you wanted to learn when you came here starts to grates on your nerves.

The reoccurring theme is always the same. Miami is beautiful but the people here make living in the city ugly. That hatred you sense here on this forum and the polarization is indicative of the struggles of living here on both sides.

You have the Hispanics who think they are entitled to act like they did back in the old country making it uninhabitable for those who come from other areas of the country. The city is full of immigrants who refuse to assimilate to the US.

I can assure you JM has never actually been to a 3rd world city; no, Cozumel does not represent the rest of Mexico. Try to actually live in a place like this for a few days and you will eat your words. How is Miami "3rd world"? You just throw around all these terms that you probably don't completely understand the meaning of. Do you have any idea how different Miami is from any Latin American "3rd world" city? Miami is much closer to NYC, Chicago, LA, hell, even Charleston, WV (or as you would call it, the REAL America) than it will ever be to Bogota, or Havana, or even Buenos Aires, which is not as "3rd world" as the others because Argentina is mostly white, right? Wrong. Traffic in Miami is bad? Hello!! At least we have traffic lights and stop signs. I can tell you this is nothing like any Latin American cities. I was in Panama city, I think I heard the tour guide say the whole city had 2 or 3 traffic lights. When you go to a country where the biggest car with the loudest horn gets the right-of-way and yielding to pedestrians is optional (and frowned upon), you will learn to appreciate Miami. And you keep persisting with the personal attacks. You know nothing of my background. All you're doing is making an ass of yourself. Tell me, where will I go back to? The United States is my home. Like it or not, you have to share "your" country with this Spanish-speaking blackie. Boo hoo. Anyways, gawd bless Americuh! Yeehaw!

What old country?! Over 50% of Miami-Dade's citizens were born in the US. Most of us Hispanics under 30 were born here. We're as American as you.
