^ I think he meant $1,000 a month not $100. Are you the only one that's going to be working? Your wage would be fine if you were single in Miami otherwise it's going to be rough for you. Miami is expensive but less so than southern California. You can find houses in that price range in the Miami area. By the way I currently live in Orlando and the cost of living isn't that much different from Miami.

well about south california,,i think its not more expensive than miami for what people said on internet on other forums,,maybe im wrong..i never been in miami..and yes its only me that going to work for now ,,im living fine here in south calif with that pay,,beside my wife got a bachelor degree in elementary education "teacher" and know both languages spanish and english..but here in california theres a big deficit and they are firing teachers so thats why shes not working here right now

i need some advice where to look for a 2 bed 1 bad house from 1000.00 aprox. rent monthly but nice for my 2 daughter that are 3 and 8 yrs

the job will be in Medley, FL 33178 so need house not too far from there

i hear that orlando are cheaper that miami,,i hear alot of people saying miami are like living in hollywood area ..too expensive and poor pay

I would take Miami over Southern California any day! I think you'll find that the air smells and feels better there!

^^^See I would take Southern California over Miami any day, not as humid milder temps near the coast. It really is a personally opinion.

Cost of living is relevant, for example the rents are higher in LA vs. Miami but LA pays considerably more wages, so in a mathematical sense just take expenses/income and see which one has the lower percentage as this is one way to base your decision.

^ that maybe true but California has higher taxes including a personal income state tax whereas Florida has no Income tax.
