My boyfriend is coming from London to visit me this Christmas I haven't been here for long so I don't know if they do any events like fireworks or funfairs or something that we can go to instead of staying at home?

Thanks

Miami doesn't really do a whole lot for Christmas (I think because it is so warm usually people don't get int he Christmas spirit like people in cooler climates do), fyi most things will be closed Christmas Day. You will find restaurants in the hotels that will be open most likely. You have Santas Enchanted Forest, there is a boat parade on Dec 10th (not sure you will be here already) that goes down the Intercoastal waterway. Viscaya and The Deering Estate will be decorated for the holidays I suspect. The Miami City Ballet will probably have a Nutcracker performace.

Yeah I figured, I wanted to go new York or somewhere more festive but the prices are incredibly high! Thank you anyways though

Christmas in Miami is like having Coconut Palm Trees in New Jersey, it just seems weird and out of place.
