I'm wearing 3 sweaters and 2 pants today (one over the other). And 2 thick stockings on each foot.

LOL - I'm from up north so yesterday was just chilly to me - that is not "real" cold. i did put the heat on for the night once it got down below 50, but socks and a sweatshirt is all i needed when i was out last night. i would never bother with 3 sweaters and 2 pair o pants, i couldn't move! hahaha -- if it gets THAT cold (like around 35) I have a coat.

and i dunno WHAT this guy's issue is - nobody has ever said Miami doesn't have a few cold days each winter. we all know it does, so what exactly is the guy's problem??

Man up everyone...move to Chicago and you get at least 3 months of weather even colder.

Isn't this the place to be for sunshine and warmth? San Juan what a laugh, Puerto Rico can remain a commonwealth, America doesn't need it as a 51st state we have enough problems. This place is a dump.

That video is not Puerto Rico. That is a favela in Brazil. So try again....

I hate it. Never got used to it and I lived in the midwest for three painful years. I remember having to walk to school, in the snow, in the middle of a blizzard with ice hitting my face a million miles per hour only to be told school was cancelled cause almost no one showed up. Then had to walk back. I actually looked forward to the cold in Miami before moving there, now it's more like PTSD.

I understand people move to Florida to escape cold weather and ice.

Unfortunately, Florida gets in the path of cold fronts dipping down in winter---maybe two or three times a winter temps get into the fourties---and once into the thirties.

Come on now---it is brutally hot down here for almost 7 months a year. One or two days of colder weather is actually a nice experience for those who live here year round-----the air has felt fresh for the past couple of days.

For those of you who abhor this minor cold wave, just stay inside and pretend its 94 degrees with 65% humidity----lot of us get a lot of a/c inside time than anyway.

Where is this "Very cold" the OP writes of? Indeed, it is chilly but that is all. It got down to 37 degrees this morning by my house. I wore a sweater and drove with the window open. It is nice though to have the temperature drop here every so often.

I had to leave my heater on over night for the first time in the almost 3 years we have lived here but that is because of my 6 month old.
