I am from PR.
There are no favelas like that in PR. I can tell you have never been to my island.
There are bad areas, but overall the quality of life is pretty darn good.

This is that favela and the hill next to it. Enjoy and do your research. Its in Rio.

I had to leave my heater on over night for the first time in the almost 3 years we have lived here but that is because of my 6 month old.
WHERE is the very cold? IT IS ALL OVER THE WEATHER CHANNEL, that is where........

Freezes ARE COLD. 30's are COLD. 40 is COLD.

Rare occurrences don't change the facts. Miami is tropical with an average January temperature of 67 degrees.

Miami is not tropical, only subtropical. It gets cold sometimes.

There are cities in the tropics that have a cool climate throughout the year, and other cities that never get cold or hot, only mild most the year.
