Looking for the area of Miami that has the highest Colombian population. I prefer Abq, NM, but my wife who's a Colombiana, would like something more tropical. Any suggestions?

Default Greatings

We live in Miami Gardens next to the I-75 and that area is full of Colombians. It should be between 57th toward 87th ave and 163 st to 191 st...
Kendall is very popular of Colombians too. Some people say that "El Doral" but I'd think is most for Venezuelans than Colombians. Some parts of Miramar, Pembroke Pines too.
Tamiami area could be another zone.

Weston is another Colombian's zone.

What part of Colombia is your wife from? If she is from the coast (Barranquilla, Cartagena) , the climate of Miami won't be a shock. But if she is from Medellin or Bogota, she might not be prepared for the humid summers.

Manizales. She prefers the "green" & the rain over the desert SW. We have considered the L.A. area, but family is in the east.

That said wanting an area she can feel a Colombian vibe...or quick access to one, areas to walk, hike & ride our bikes, and the ability to go to a store/farmers market without having to load up into the car.

Living now, again in metro Atlanta, nothing is within walking distance. This city/area sucks big time IMO. I'm not delaying getting out of here.

The only walkable part of Miami is the beaches and along RT 1 (Brickell et al).
