I think what Sarah means are they any stories and photos on past hurricanes and tropical storms that you have to share not necessarily Isaac at the present moment. I don't have any myself.

WHAT A STORM IN A TEA CUP!! Will think hard about putting shutters up and making such preparations....just a bit of wind/ rain (english weather!!!)

I feel like telling everyone I saw excessively preparing "I told you so". Seems that because last year we were spared from hurricanes that this one was over-hyped.

I lost power for about 5 hours last night. Night was the worst of it for me when the news said the worst was around 5pm. It certainly was no hurricane but being on the water I'm glad I rolled out some of the shutters up there was plenty of nasty wind gust. I'm also glad I didn't put up all the shutters because that would have been a waste.

thing is once you know you are not gonna get it...you feel bad knowing some other poor sod is getting it instead.....

Yea. Sometimes I think I would rather take a hit than some of the islands or Lousiana. We are so prepared for storms down here that what a cat-1 or 2 does in other areas it would take a 4 down here.
