We have a business so the amount we get back pays for the membership plus a little more = free. My Costco has gas too which is cheaper than any of my local stations. The BJ's by me doesn't sell gas. Do any of them?
Yes there are BJs' clubs with gas like the one in Fort Laud off Commercial and the Okeechobee one in Hialeah.

I have both a Costco and a BJs within 10 minutes of my house and I buy from both on a regular basis. I prefer Costco for electronics because of their 'concierge' service and extended warranty. Costco has better online choices and provides free shipping for most big ticket items. We buy gas only from Costco - BJs in my area doesn't have gas pumps.

When it comes to food, BJs often sells in smaller quantities than Costco, which sells in bulk only.

BJ's has some better items than Costo, also usually shorter lines, better payment methods, and not as busy. That being said, I only cancelled my Costco membership and went with BJ's because they were closed on the 4th of July. Seriously? It's not like it's Christmas or something.

Both are good, I've gone to both of them from time to time when I lived down in Pinecrest.

But living in Key Biscayne, it's just impossible, the nearest ones are either in Doral, or Kendall, or Hialeah (which is basically 20-25 miles from here). Actually the same goes for Wal-Mart, the nearest one is pretty far from here. Bloody nora, why is that? Now I rarely go to those places, I have to rely either on Winn-Dixie (only one here), or Publix on nearby areas.

I suspect space. These stores are large and their parking lots are large as well.

It probably is. Downtown, Miami Beach, North Bay Village, and other mostly urban neighborhoods kind of have this same issue.
