Bernice is tough, yes the show is fake, but it's also stylish, robbie has lost weight and has become a bad ass.

Haha...totally staged. I saw Bernice engaged in a fake fight with some guy in a parking lot on Biscayne. They were making a huge scene (and she's wearing that ridiculous bright orange shirt, so not exactly inconspicuous, to begin with) and knocked over a scooter while the cops parked across the street at a gas station looked on. Then, they presumably "cut" and everyone just stood around. My light changed, so I didn't get to keep watching, but definitely fake.

Knowing nothing about how reality TV is produced, it makes me wonder if the local police aren't notified well in advance of most of these ridiculous scenes and show up so passersby don't keep calling 911.

I love South Beach Tow, but sadly, it is mostly, if not completely, staged. Bernice and Perez are the best! Tremont Towing is an actual company.

Yes it's staged, but the show is also the most stylish looking show on tru tv since Rehab Party at the hard rock hotel.

Has anyone noticed that South Beach Tow, and those other kinds of shows, always have like ten minutes of pictures of the city before moving onto the actual storyline? Like always showing bikini-clad girls and that one bikini-wearing guy on the beach, a few palm trees, a nightclub, a seagull, then Perez arguing with some woman? LOL

The episode that made me realize how bad it was had a scene where the tow truck is called to ocean and 12th for a car that is parked in front of the palace and as they are about to tow the car, this girl in a bikini comes and says she needs to grab her stuff out of it bla bla bla and they refuse to let her grab stuff.

They hook the car and as they are driving away, they hear a knocking. They pull over and pop the trunk on the car and out comes a ton of smoke and a black guy with dreads pretending to be lost and have been locked in the trunk by someone...WTF lol

It is staged. I went to an audition once, and they basically want you to act as "ghetto" as possible for a few hundred bucks. I declined - can't see how that was going to help my acting career!
