screw SoBe, I would've taken a plane to Tokyo, Japan two days before and just live the last few days as a bum wandering around Tokyo, speaking Japanese with the locals, blowing off my money on good quality Japanese food, visiting a local temple and joining buddhist monks in their meditation, watch a Noh theater play, and finally climbing up Fuji-san and wait for the world to end.
