This used to be a great restaurant - Baleen, but it closed. It looks like *a* restaurant is still there. I wonder if it is any good. It should be, seeing how this is a prime location on an island off Coconut Grove.

Had a great churrasco steak last night at this Nucaraguan place in Miami - Los Ranchos. They have a few locations, I was at the Bayside one.

My husband was just there with his parents and sister and said everything they had was very good and they also had excellent service.

We have a little neighborhood place in West Kendall - Two Brothers Restaurant - that has good Italian and pizza that's nicer than a regular pizza place. We've also got a Moon Thai now in W. Kendall - Japanese/Thai that's pretty good. Chef Adrienne's if you want $$$$/upscale is way out here in W. Kendall too. I love going to the Charthouse in the Grove every once in awhile too.

Forgot to mention across from MDC Kendall campus is a little hole in the wall with the best Jamaican patties - Sonia's Patties. They make them to order not ahead of time so you need to go with a little time. not fast food. Also Jam Rock for Jamaican on Kendall and 127th in the shopping center with Bangkok Bangkok which is pretty good too. Wasn't impressed at all with Lime Fresh in that shopping center but dh said Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in there was pretty good.

Does anyone know the name of the taco place down in Homestead that's a hole in the wall? They only have tacos there. Oh and Knaus Berry Farms in the Redlands for cinnamon rolls! Yum! They're only open till mid-April.
