Where do WHITE people live in south Florida? I'm talking non-Hispanic, whiter than white, country club type WASPs, ones that play Croquet?

In houses, condos, townhomes. Some used to live under the Julia Tuttle but that has since been cleaned up.

Here they're mostly (but in small although significant quantities) in Southeast Dade (that would be Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest, Gables by the Sea, Palmetto Bay and East Kendall). Also in parts of Northeast Dade (Aventura, Bal Harbour, Indian Creek Island and Golden Beach mainly).

In Broward they're in larger quantities (in places like Davie and Cooper City in West Broward - also areas like Parkland, Coral Springs, Coconut Creek in North Broward - plus Ft. Lauderdale, parts of Dania Beach and Hallandale Beach, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Galt Mile and Lighthouse Point in the East end of the County)

This link should answer your question, just look for the census tract for the highest amount of white people. I don't know where they're whiter than white or if they play croquet (stick to the beach), but golf is a good bet.

This shows that most of the county is less than 20% white, generally between 4-18%. You have to stick to the beaches where most of the census tracts are at least half white (Miami Beach, Surfside, Bay Harbour, Sunny Isles, Aventura and Golden Beach)

North Miami, North Miami Beach, and Miami Shores also have a large but dwindling amount, albeit decreasing slower than before.

Miami's urban core has actually been reversing a trend that's probably been going on for over 50 years, the white population is actually growing for the first time in a long time. That's Wynwood, Little Haiti, the Upper East Side, Midtown, Edgewater, Downtown and Brickell. This is a younger crowd though, probably not the WASPs you're looking for.

Then there's the communities along Old Cutler Road. This region of the county is still mostly white, places like Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and Palmetto Bay. Kendall also still has a large white population but white flight has been harsher here than anywhere the last decade. There's also still a large presence of white people in areas around Kendall like South Miami, Glenvar Heights, and West Kendall.

South Dade also still has a good amount of white folk, Homestead too saw an increase in white people right before the real estate crash while it was experiencing record growth. Redland, Homestead and Florida City are probably the only place you'd expect to meet a redneck in Miami. But from personal experience, I know a redneck who still lives in Hialeah and too proud to ever leave. Truth is, there's still close too 400K white people in Miami, that's a big community anywhere. Most people aren't used to white people just being a large minority.

City of Palm Beach is home to the exact stereotype.

There is a little bit of that in Coral Gables and Pinecrest too.

There are many working and middle class WASP types in south Broward County, up to about the Plantation area. North Broward has more Italians, Irish, Jewish, etc, from the northeastern US by contrast.

That's about it.

Rednecks left a long time ago, good riddance.

Do not forget loxahatchee or the Acerage. You will find many white people there, and I have several friends in the area.
