South Florida residents never seem to surprise me anymore. My heart goes out to the latest Broward Sheriff Officer that was shot this morning. He is currently in surgery in critical condition. What is the tri county area coming too, yesterday a teacher on a smoke break outside a school was shot for money and is in the hospital recovering from surgery. Whats going to happen tomorrow?

What is it with all the cop shootings down there? I realize the average criminal isn't exactly brilliant but I can't believe that they are sooo stupid they don't realize that:

A: They will be caught eventually.
B: Florida executes cop killers.

The greater Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area is starting to look like it did in the early 1980s. Paradise lost indeed.

South Florida is truely getting worse and I have been syaing this for almost a year now (but still people think/say South Florida is paradise). Hell the guy that shot and killed a police officer in Philadelphia, when he fled where did he flee too? Miami of course, where he was captured this weekend.

The guy already had two life sentences for armed robbery. What amazes me is that this guy was let out of jail. My heart goes out to the officer and his family.

Arrow Bso

This has truly been yet another very tragic day for BSO. How about we just all send out positive thoughts and prayers for his wife, children and grandchildren.

Let's worry about the rest of the crap tomorrow.

Like who?
Every time I tell someone I'm from West Palm Beach they say I'm lucky (they haven't visited the area and just figure it's a nice area based on it's name I guess, or think it's "rich" because it has Palm Beach in the name), I'll be lucky once I move out of here I've never seen the crime so bad in this area.

My sentiments exactly. Amazing the crap that happens down here in our crime fighting and criminal justice system.
