Butcher shop suggestions (Miami, South Miami, Sebring: buy, shops, foods)

I normally go to Martinez in doral for my rib eyes that I buy whole and then cut into individual steaks. I have not gone wrong there. Their tenderloins isn't bad either.

But I would love to find a butcher shop for REAL restrurants quality short ribs, brisket and other cheaper cuts of meats that are of higher quality then publixs or the rest.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I use to go to penn Dutch meats in broward but have not been happy lately. Coming from a family where my grandfather was a butcher and my husband and ex husband dad's were butchers I wish had something like that here in south Florida.

Have you tried an Argentinean butcher shop. It seems as though most butcher shops in Miami are Argentinean.

Iwent to the shop on 97 th and bird garzianos and didn't care for the cuts, although I buy my Argentina sausage from them and it is awesome. The short ribs are poor and cheaper cuts of meat as well.

I cook low and slow but want better cuts of meat. I find it kinda of hopeless here for good quality meat anywhere in south Florida. Might look Into what the Sebring area has where you purchase half a cow and they do the cuts,not the best cuts since those go out to top tier bit better then you get in a grocery store.

We have family and lots of friends in the area so might inquire there, just didn't want to have the expense this year, just want good cuts of certain meats this year.

Have you tried Land & Sea Emporium on US1 by South Miami. I have never been there but it seems promising.

Funny you made this thread cause I was thinking about asking the same thing the other day. I went on yelp to research though. Actually, I was only thinking about it cause I had a craving for chorizo.
