Not the biggest fan of it, but I think it is a great idea and improvement over what is there now, plus it will just add to more to the list of things to do in Miami.

Theres also a 70% chance it wont happen, But since it is tourism, Miami, and Florida people might see it as very possible...

Sorry but that project is dead in the water, because of Norman Braham and Disney world.

Casino bill all but dies as Fresen postpones vote | Naked Politics

Ever wonder why every time Miami wants to do a major water theme park it gets killed? Like the race track and metro zoo once wanted to.......Disney and sea world and Orlando.

That piece of land is going to sit there for a long time, especially now with the train leaving Miami and going directly to Orlando.

The project is going slower and at a smaller scale. I am confident that smaller scale means "we are building 70% of it but we will wait until gambling passes then we will build the rest" But it is not dead and connections to Disney World have nothing to do with the project. It is not really meant to be a family vacation area.

It is happening. Demolition is planned on the Herald building. It is just at a smaller scale for now. Genting didn't spend hundreds of millions of dollars to just let the land sit there. Trust me on that.
