Howdy! Just wondered if someone could tell me where the busiest metro stations are? Where the most people can be found on a Saturday? Are there more people to be found on Metrorail or Metromover? I'm sure some stops are busier on a weekday, but are certain ones busier on weekends? Thanks a lot!

Ummm why do you want to know what stations are busy? Do you want to know what areas there are to hang out during the weekends? Usually they both aren't very busy on weekends.

Hello! Thanks for asking. We are looking for a place to hand out free gospel literature. We offer it in public areas and so we are interested in where the busiest areas might be.

On the weekends I would forget the metro stations and use streets of Miami Beach. The absolute best time to do anything like that would be outside the American Airlines Arena before and after heat games.

Metrorail has more riders and government center is the "hub" but I really have no idea how busy it would be on a weekend.

You're best off looking at ridership figures of each station which is readily available on Miami-Dade Transit's website.

I would be careful of handing out anything on metro rail, might be considered solicitation and you might be cited. Hubby travels daily on metro rail to work and has never seen anyone hand out any pamphlets.

I would not do it on a platform but right outside the station on a public sidewalk they have to let you pass out papers, say things out loud etc.. But again your best bets for people are sidewalks of busy areas of Miami Beach and outside the AAA and Bayside.

The Omni bus/Metromover terminal can be active on the weekend since it's a hub for going to the beach. Some people take the train to South Miami and Dadeland North to get to the malls. Brickell station can also be active.

But the greatest concentration of people is definitely in South Beach.
