If searches is what it take to save children's lives, so be it. Who cares!

People tend to hide behind the Constitution when it is convinient for them. But what they ignore is that the Constitution is a living document. That is why the way it addressed slavery changed, as well as the right for women to vote, and so on.
They are fighting to protect this great nation, the Constitution of the United States and the freedom that we have and enjoy, one of them being the right to bear arms.

Law abiding citizens that exercise the 2nd amendment do not hide behind the Constitution, they stand by the Constitution.

I used to believe like the other person..........if you have nothing to hide then let them search so that we can all be safer ...........until I looked at of the police incidents in a post 911 world.........then you see a few cops planting evidence violating people rights left and right under the guise of safety and you realize your rights are being trampled on so much you don't realize it. A YT channel Flex Your Rights has some very good info and stories of people get screwed by the cops.

More children die in car accidents. Lets change the constitution to say no one is allowed to drive! Save the Children!!

Again, please read up on the 4th amendment then come back. All you keep saying is this Children stuff but you don't respond to what we are saying. That just shows how inherently weak your argument is. I don't 'hide" behind the constitution. I follow it, and protect it.

What you want to do is dismantle one of the most important fundamental rights we have in the United States of America.

No wonder the legislators have made everything illegal. That way every person violates a law just to survive. Then everyone is a criminal and can be disarmed. Where is this in the Constitution?

tallrick - I guess I see your point... That would be the only way to get around the 2nd amendment.
