I recently moved back to the area after 15 years. I attended public schools but would like to send my children to private schools for various reasons. If you had to choose between Gulliver, Westminster and Epiphany Catholic, which would you choose and why? Assume money is not a factor. Our oldest will be going into PreK 4 with 2 siblings to follow.

My impression is that all three are about equal in terms of facilities, curriculum, location and class of people, so any differences are for the most part a cultural question, and only you and your family can answer that. The rest depends on the quality of the student. A good student could thrive in any of those three schools. But I would give an edge to Gulliver in the case of a good and academically ambitious student and a family who does not seek a Christian culture.

According to my research, the only private school that really stands out academically is Ransom Everglades, which starts, I believe, in sixth grade, but especially in terms of high school curriculum, which is richer than the first two years of curriculum in many colleges, and indeed the price is higher than many colleges. It is probably best for a student who has proven himself by the time of entry and has ambitions to attend an Ivy League or other top university in the US.

Good Luck!
