Sure that's a home? Guess the rest are homes but the one right infront looks like t might be commercial.

Assuming it is a home which I think you are right. Wow, what a difference, but hey if the guy owns his land and doesn't feel like spending money moving why not? Does it look very odd.?Yes it sure does. But it's not like he's making the area look worse. Smart financial move if the guy wants his dream house so be it.

There was a Mazzarati in the garage. The neighbors have gates for a reason! 1.5 million is now worth $350,000 LOL

It's the "Buy High Sell Low" school of finance.

I agree it looks weird and is a weird thing to do. But if the guy likes the neighborhood and does not want to spend a ton of money it is a smart financial thing to do assuming the home is for personal use not an investment type thing.

Lets say the lot is paid for. They just build the house and that is it. A house like that more east will be over 1.5 million easy depending on the neighborhood.

What can I say, the owners really love Hialeah. You people are not seeing the possible benefits: centrally located, close to your work or business, close to El Dollarazo, Noo Que Barrato and the cafeteria and botanica around the corner and large enough for a large scale hydroponic lab or when the rest of the family arrives from Cuba. What more can you ask for.

As long as it wasn't built with public dollars, I could care less.

It looks like a house that should have been built on the bay. Maybe they are waiting for the sea level to rise?
