So let's see, Beckham didn't get his stadium deal in the spot because of the cruise ships, but the cruise ships will allow this?

Sounds like some palms were greased ala usual developer's big pockets.

This has been a plan for a long time. That area can't be used by any large ships. The cruise shops prefer this plan and that is why they did not want a soccer stadium there.

I understand the cruise ships being worried about traffic tie ups, especially if sailing time is a factor. But with so many folks in this center there will be always a traffic tie up of some sort.

Trust me right around sailing time or close to it, it is busy I know because ex hubby always asks us for a ride and they always cut it close. In the future I will have to tell him DUDE three hours early or nothing!
