Trust me, I know..... I was stupid enough to have done it.

They will research the crap out of u behind ur back. They'll pull a credit report on u and find out where u live via ur other bills being mailed to different addresses, ie, electric, cable, student loans, credit cards, car notes, whatever bills come up on a credit report and they will compare addresses and catch u.... they question as to why is this claim being filed from miami? What were u doing in Miami? why are ur other bills being mailed to an address in Miami?... they know, they're not stupid.
I agree 100 percent with this post. It is plain stupid for anyone to think they could get away with this, maybe in the short-term but not long.

What about for people who have more than one residence?

Don't they just pick the residence with the cheapest car insurance and register the car there?

Just curious.

I for one currently DESPISE all the expenses and responsibilities of owning a car and want to go car free. And with renting car services it's even more awesome. I read millennials prefer to be car free and I couldn't agree more.
I Agree, that only works in NYC.
