Another business born in Miami is moving its headquarters? Or just a rumor designed to scare others?

Burger King says it's 'not moving' and 'will continue to pay all' of its taxes | PolitiFact

What companies moved from miami? And scare others? Who? And why?

Also, of its better for BK to move to Canada then go ahead. It seems the States is going to the crapper anyway. I wouldn't have my company here either .

They are not leaving. They're keeping their HQ in Miami. Would love some Tim Hortons here though

I am trying to think of what large companies have relocated away from Miami and I can't think of any right now. I do know that a lot of large companies that were large employers in Miami have closed, mainly in the aviation industry. Eastern, National, Pan Am and Braniff.

It looks like Miami might get Eastern back plus they have American Airlines, not doing too bad especially in international passengers and cargo.

Is it bad that I'm Miami born and raised and I didnt know BK was started here.

I rarely ever eat fast food anyway, my version of fast food is Pollo Tropical aka not greasy deep fried mass produced burgers.

Actually BK CHAR-BROILS which is healthier than most burger places but you still have french fries and onion rings, the unhealthy word being fried.
