Well, it is close to the zoo and not far from the Everglades or the Keys. Traffic can make attempts at going downtown or to South Beach frustrating though. I rarely go to South Beach anymore because the thought of having to deal with that traffic kills my enthusiasm. I guess it would depend on what she wants to do.

I live in Kendall and can say there are not many tourists there. It's strictly middle class suburbia with nothing to really see or do. And why u are telling us about ur blonde haired blue eyed friend is beyond me? Are u asking if it's safe for a white person to be in kendall? I don't get that description u are providing.

which is so tragic because malls in kendall aren't exactly anything to write home about. They're just shopping plazas filled with the usual chain store crap. Marshalls, Ross, Home Depot, Sport Authority, etc... nothing unique or interesting.

I'd steer them more toward Aventura mall if they wanna shop...or Bal Harbor or Lincoln Road... or even dadeland Mall, but not Kendall. ew

Last I knew, Dadeland is in ~Kendall~, and after Dolphin Mall...They are always full of tourists...Txs to The Apple Store, The Cheesecake Factory, and so many others.
