I want to murder someone when I'm in a hurry and I get stuck behind some idiot doing 55 or 60 on the left lane and another idiot driving right next to me at the same speed on the right lane and I can't go anywhere.

When will idiots learn that you are NOT supposed to drive slow on the left lane, it's called the fast lane for a reason and it is for people to go fast (duh) and for passing. Someone that thinks they're a safe driver because they drive slow is dumb, they're endangering other drivers. It's perfectly ok to go slow if they want, they just have to keep themselves to the right lanes.
On the other hand, a couple of weeks ago I was tailgated while I was in the express lanes. I was going 15 MPH over the speed limit, and the SUV behind me was so close that I literally could only see the grill in my mirror. I was in the left lane because I needed to continue on to 95, not get off on the turnpike. I tapped my brakes lightly a couple of times to get it off my rear, but when the driver wouldn't back off, I was SO tempted to see how fast he/she could stop. I'm a little stubborn and was getting rather ticked off, so I actually went past my exit when the express lanes ended, just because I refused to move over for that idiot (it remained within arms distance of my car, even when there was a ton of room to go around and no vehicles in the lanes next to us). I stayed in my lane until it went around me, then I moved over and took the exit after the one I usually took to go home.

Just drive in Manhattan and on the New Jersey Turnpike, Miami will seem like a cakewalk.

There should be more scooters in Miami, but many people are terrorized of scooters. Most of the trajects are short and cars are not needed. Miami is a nice place for scooters, mainly Coconut Grove, MB, etc.

Way back, the only people that used scooters were kids and yachters. Weather is ideal, even when it rains, rain is warm water and sun comes out and dries everything. I believe there are many scooters now in MB.

Problem is that no matter how fast you're going, even when you're legitimately in the left lane because you're trying to get around a slower driver, there will always be someone who wants to go faster than you're going. You can be going 100 MPH and they'll still be tailgating because they want to go 120 MPH.

Such drivers ( sounds like you are one of them) tailgate until they see half an opening, then they'll very suddenly (and very unsafely) swing around the driver they're tailgating and shoehorn their way back in front of him so they can get in front of him and the driver who's also speeding his way in the middle lane towards them. Maybe you can imagine the number of near misses, or even accidents caused or at least contributed to by such those drivers who let their road rage rule while they are driving.

Oviedo - low crime, good schools, friendly people, no road rage.

How about Miami?
