How does being killed in a TA have anything to do with whether or not she is qualified to have children?

24, with 3 children is bad? Why is that? (BTW, I only see in what I read that she had one child.)

Is this tragic death just another bootstrap for the OP to bag on other people?

No bootstrap here my friend. If they are that STUPID to try and cross a FREEWAY with 7 KIDS they SHOULD NOT have kids PERIOD!!! Obviously there's NO COMMON SENSE here going on.

This is not a tragic death. It's not like they were standing on a corner somewhere and a car in a prior accident came barreling their way and they couldn't get out of the path. These idiots specifically went to cross a 10 lane highway.

Unfortunately, there are stupid parents doing stupid things involving children all over the country every day. As far as I know, they are all allowed to continue to reproduce unless they are in prison.

They should have put a pedestrian overpass instead. Here in Miami they actually took out an overpass on the Turnpike extension.

Who knows? Maybe there other cars blocking the view and those cars were able to avoid them. Sometimes people freak out in these situations and over correct causing worse accidents. Chances are these people were running and he was driving at least 65 miles an hour so it's not like the driver had much time to react. No one expects 10 people to cross the expressway, a regular street is different.

This is so sad, why did this group decide to cross the palmetto. I don't care if it's 3am and there are hardly any cars on the road, people should not be crossing it on foot. Way to dangerous for them and drivers who don't expect to see people walking on this expressway.

Reading the article, it was 3 adult groups with 7 children as they were trying to make it to a Chuck E. Cheese in Hialeah Gardens. One of their last names was Johnson as one would think it would be an Hispanic name. The driver will probably not be charged but the other adults will with child endangerment.

They were all African American but who cares what their race was. They tried to cross the Palmetto(for those of you who are familiar with this road) around the Christmas Palace which is in NW 98 st. They should have instead walked 4 blocks North and cross to the other side through NW 103 st or take a bus. The Chuck E. Cheese is around NW 92 st.

The Okeechobee road underpass, the one closer to the Chuck E Cheese, has not sidewalks, stripes or any pedestrian infrastructure.
Not that it justifies what happened, but worth nothing what a barrier a highway can be.
