Hello. I will be moving to Miami from chicago in June. I work from home so I dont specifically need to be near anywhere but I'd like access to Wynwood, Brickell and Mimo.

My budget would be anywhere from $1300-$1900 depending on 1 or 2 bedrooms(not certain yet) High rise or not doesn't matter at the moment but I will have 2 cars with me. No kids so don't care about schools but do have 2 Pomeranians.

Can you recommend some neighborhoods to search for apartment?
Is Mimo district safe to live in?
Is Wynwood safe? I drove by and thought it seemed a bit seedy still.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Brickell and see if the building has an extra parking space you can lease per month. Mimo district has mostly residential houses nearby. Wynwood isn't mostly residential and mostly warehouses and businesses.

Can I ask what type of work you do that your budget is that high? I would love to work from home as I am a stay at home mom.

The Midtown area off n. bayshore dr. You should be able to find a 1/1 for $1800 with 2 parking spots
You'd have a large park on one side of the street and a publix on the other side as well as a 24hr grocery store 2 blocks away.

It's a great area with tons of restaurants, fast food, and atms within close walking distance. It's also right by the 3 different causeways that lead directly to south beach the closest causeway being the Venetian.

You "unfortunately" have to bring your wife? I sure hope she doesn't read this forum!
