All 7 kids should be taken away and put into Foster Care. These people have NO BUSINESS having kids. They obviously have no brains. The bf should be arrested for attempted murder!!!!

Poor kids, they ones that got hurt didn't deserve that fate.

Driving the Palmetto is already a very dangerous task, now crossing all those lanes with a bunch of children is group suicide.

Yikes, I'd never count on getting across the Palmetto Expwy on foot if I were a fleet-footed runner by myself, let alone a woman with 7 kids. Did she think cars would stop for her and her brood as they crossed, or something??

More nominations for the Darwin award? What else would you expect from the Miami area? They should put back the signs they used to have prohibiting pedestrians and vehicles under 5 horsepower.

According to the article I read, the 24-year-old woman who was killed only had one child and was pregnant with her second.

Wow, your hatred for all-things Miami and your warped mind just will not let any event, no matter how tragic, pass without you spewing more vitriol, will it?

Yea they had people crossing Arlington Expressway here in Jacksonville trying to get to stores on the other side and there were reported fatalities, so they put a fence up and down the expressway. The Palmetto traffic is much worse than Arlington, Arlington has quite a few Section 8 housing where one does not use cars so they use to short cut it to the other side of the X-Way.
