Im going on a first date tonight with someone I met recently and were heading to Brickell. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale so I don't know the area in Miami much. I managed to get a reservation at a restaurant tonight, but now I am looking for a place to go afterwards if the dinner goes smoothly, someplace to get a few drinks, sit on a couch and just chat.
I've been to the 55th Station News Lounge before near Wynwood/Midtown and I loved it. It wasn't a club or a bar, but more of a mix between the two, where you can either go inside and dance on the dance floor, sit at the bar, or find a couch and chat.
Heres a picture of what I'm referring to:
Is there anything similar to that in Brickell I can take my date for a few drinks after dinner so we can just talk or dance? Quick replies will be really appreciated, were meeting in a few hours.

Try Cantina La Veinte, in the back of the Icon Building at 465 Brickell Avenue...head downstairs--very nice.

if that's the case, I trust you've also been to Wynwood Kitchen?....love the vibe there, especially outdoors. Food is also very good.
