Most will reconsider dealing with snow and ice being Florida esp Miami will be the next California.
Good luck with paying the bills with sunshine non snowbirds.

OK, and my question is so what? So what if people are priced out of Miami? Nobody is entitled to live in a world class tourist area with the only tropical climate in the continental united states.

They can move to Jacksonville or Tampa or Ocala or Tallahassee or other more affordable places in Florida or not move to Florida at all. There's almost 22 Million people here now and every day close to 1,000 more people come. At some point, it's good for the state that people without the means to support themselves stay where they are.
