Aventura by a mile. Dadeland/ sawgrass mall second. I actually like dadeland a bit more.

Are any of you looking forward to when Brickell Citi Centre opens next year? It will be high end shopping though comparable to Aventura.

Bal Harbour on steroids.. I'm more looking forward to the climate ribbon and outdoor space instead of the shops. Lululemon is gonna be there. EAST's Sugar lounge too! Dont forget the Miami World Center also

Yeah, but the traffic will be even worse than Aventura and less stores overall. If I'm driving to the mall, I'm still going to Aventura. And I'll probably be driving to the mall since Brickell is not well connected to South Beach by mass transit. Aventura is planning to expand too.

True but once the construction is done and the bridge finally opens up I think traffic will improve. Plus unlike aventura most people will be taking the metro mover and rail directly into the mall. Brickell/ downtown at this point is not meant to be a driving part of Miami just like parts of new york.

Also the BCC will have 5 floors of shops, not including the entire exterior spread amongst 5 seperate building spanning 3-4 city blocks ( not including one brickell which will also add even more shops at its base once phase 2 begins). It's going to have tons of shops and very comparable to aventura and dadeland. Just because it's not as vast as aventura in terms of square miles doesn't mean it's not going to have the same number of shops. Very excited!

I guess it depends upon your definition of "best." If you define best as most successful, then the answer is Bal Harbour, AINEC. In fact, Bal Harbour is the most successful mall in the entire U.S. with sales of over $3,000 per square foot. Coincidentally, Aventura is (or at least was as of 2014) the sixth most successful mall in the entire country, but its sales are only half as much as Bal Harbour ($1,500/sq.ft.).

Not all U.S. malls are reeling: These 10 centers are booming - Fortune
