OP doesn't have a car and presumably doesn't want to buy one anytime soon, so it is really the only viable option in Florida.

As already mentioned, AirBnB and roommate situations are plentiful in Miami Beach. If you have enough money to hypothetically make multiple trips for interviews, you can probably do this for awhile.

We're coming up on high season and holiday season, so you have that in your favor.

Sounds like a great idea! No job, no car, or even a place to live. Who needs those things anyways? Being unemployed and homeless with no car in a car dependent city with a sucky mass transit system is the true path to success and happiness.

You're absolutely right. Instead of "spending all my money traveling back and forth going on interviews and taking tests then NOT getting the job," it is much better to be in Miami in person and NOT get the job because you smell because you haven't showered or brushed your teeth.

You are such an inspiration to us all. I want to be just like you one day!

magicturtle is trying to perpetuate the myth that you need to speak Spanish to get a job in Miami.
I think you generally do, to get a good one. If you are just talking about working in a restaurant that is probably a different thing.
