ElGuito is right.

It took me almost 2 months but I made it.
I flew to Ecuador because it is allowed for Cubans to do so and from there you start making your way up to America.
It is a long, dangerous but exciting trip where you get to know a lot of countries on south America. The media always put things bigger than they actually are but I would say that the most dangerous parts of the whole trip are Turbo, Colombia(one of the ugliest places I have ever seen in my life) and Mexico which is terrifying(I swear you could smell the fear on the air, specially in Reinosa which is where the border with the states is located)
Out of those countries all the other would let you go through their territory by giving you a special permission to do so.

Lol you're proud of these idiots? As a Cuban American, I'm happy to say neither of these extremist conservatives have my vote, nor my family's vote.

I do not know what the intention was behind this but if america ever wanted to bring down the goverment in Cuba they should not have allowed this.... reason why ???? ok. look at me, WHAT DID I DO ?? I left the country because I knew america would open the doors for me, and that is exactly what millions of cubans have done through years, then a question arises .... WHO SOLVES THE PROBLEM IN THE ISLAND ???? NOBODY !!! people just rather to leave the country vs fighting the system, it is the simpler way to escape. It is not like in South America or any other country where people go on strike when the goverment dictate a non-fair law... in this case it is easier for the cubans to escape and leave the problem behind. GUILTY??? AMERICA !!! if they would have ignored Cuba and its situation that goverment would have fallen by its own weight...do not get me wrong people, I LOVE AMERICA ! but it was a huge mistake giving us the opportunity to come over...

ZZzzzzzzzzz yawn..

That's not rudeness. It's just being fair. And Yes, probably most of ancestors came abroad but there is a HUGE difference. They adapted to the American way and had respect for the American Flag. Let me tell you what's funny not to say hilarious: "complaint" is precisely the way of living of people from your country drying blood Government. And you came to this country practically illegal, got benefits from us, destroyed a beautiful city like Miami with your rampant crime and still have the nerve that Americans are rude when you invented rudeness?

Ok, let me tell you something in the name of Americans.

I do agree with you when you say that most of the cubans want to impose their customs, and that is why I refuse to speak spanish everytime I go to stores and at work too, at least I am giving it a shot..! I have read a lot about america, I problably know way more than yourself about this country (a great country by the way!)
Let me start by saying that you should not blame cubans for coming to a city like Miami but you should blame american politicians who hasnt been able to create a fair-minded and organized immigration program like the one they have in Canada (for example) which is way more organized than the one u have here.
You are so selfish that you are saying that your ancestors had the right to come over but that is it ?????????????????? nobody else can have the opportunity??????????? jaja my friend, do some thinking..... how can you assure those people had respect for the american flag ??? it has never been political issues, it has been economical issues the reason why cubans have migrated not only to Miami or the States but Worldwide... maybe at that time Miami wasnt overpopulated as it is now but your statements are wrong...
Cubans where the ones who built this city, to criticize is the easiest but is not sad the fact that you complain meanwhile there is a lot of cubans getting diplomas from FIU and earning a lot of money (some of them were not even born here) ???????????? Do some research, study, learn, put the hate aside and then arise like Rubio and Cruz who are not flawless but look where they are !!! WHERE ARE YOU, CAN I KNOW ????????
By the way, crime ???? I can assure you that the numbers of hardworkers cubans in miami exceeds the other part involved in crime. I will be willing to bet... no doubt. I am dropping an example bellow, read please, look what an individual born in Cuba achieved, again my question .... WHAT HAVE YOU ?? CAN I KNOW ????

“I give thanks every day for having been given the opportunity to work with so many bright minds in one place,’’ said Roche, a Cuban immigrant who came to the United States with his mother in 2002. “I didn’t speak English or know how to turn on a computer. Now I write code for one of the most advanced computers in the world, orbiting the earth. Every day I’m doing this is truly a dream come true for me.’’
Roche, who arrived in the United States with a severe visual impairment, plans to bring his mother to the Kennedy Space Center in January to see firsthand the results of his work – the launch of a telecommunication satellite network that represents NASA’s next generation spacecraft – created to provide the space program with around-the-clock data transmissions.
“To know that a small part of that payload has something I worked on inside, it’s honestly the most rewarding experience I could ever feel,’’ Roche said.
The road to success for Roche was far from an easy one.
Driven, motivated and disciplined, Roche overcame his physical challenges and earned two internship stints at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, one of five out of nearly 50 applicants accepted.
