Got a huge question/favor to ask from local folks, I just reserved Courtyard By Marriott Cadillac Miami Beach/Oceanfront toward the end of May and from what i see on hotel reviews, many guests has left complaining about 35-40$ a / night a valet parking across the Collins way, and even some guests complaining it takes 25-30 min to find your car and 45-min to get your car by valet when you wanted to leave. Obviously, this would not be a great experience. Is there any alternatives to hotel parking? I also heard near parking is expensive, so I was wondering if there is an option bit further from the hotel the parking options that are cheaper and faster. I would not mind walking some distance, or even taking public transport if it is readily available to get to my car, instead of this potentially negative and expensive experience. Thanks !!!

Here is the hotel addr.: 3925 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140

Why not just find a hotel with better parking?

If you don't mind walking a little, use the City garage at 42nd- https://www.google.com/maps/place/42...!4d-80.1298221

It's $8 per 24 hours, and is open 24 hours.

i was tired of looking around. it looks like all or most hotels nearby charge 35-40$ fee. I am thinking to use the car only for certain days to save headache and cost.

Might be better just to use Uber and Lyft. You always see people getting picked up and dropped off on Collins.

Also, there are parking lots in North Beach (above 63rd) that are free for the night after 6 PM. You could potentially take the bus back and forth. Used to be everything north of 27th was free after 6 PM. Those Mid-Beach surface lots still exist and are still cheaper than hotel parking, and unless there's an event going on, it's usually possible to find a spot. http://web.miamibeachfl.gov/parking/....aspx?id=30968

G6 on 42nd was really convenient during my stay. bit of a walk and at the beach. It was not crowded at all in the parking and around the parking, nearby streets. Is it like that year round? I heard Miami gets crowded during non-summer during which rest of US flocks to miami. I was hoping to revisit other times too.

You shouldn't ever have problems at that garage, there's usually always spaces available no matter the month.
