And as I mentioned in my post, South Florida (Miami to Palm Beach) is MASSIVE. You have rural Loxahatchee to Miami Beach. You are basically saying "I eat food, which restaurants will I like" - McDonalds? Capital Grille? I don't know, you aren't giving us a lick of info to help you.

You posted in the Miami forum, but there is also a Palm Beach and Ft Lauderdale forum. That's how big the area is.

You are being generous. Statistically, just South Florida is the size of a medium sized country. The original question, as I tried to explain to the OP, is like saying "I'm moving to Norway, which neighborhood should I live in?" Note that South Florida has a larger population than Norway.

The question is obviously ridiculous, and I tried to be nice and ask for more information, and they doubled down on it, lol. I may have to word it differently next time.

Totally agree that South Florida is a mid-sized geographically and population wise. Probably has a decent GDP by global standards as well. Very few people living below global poverty level of income of less than 1 a day too.

Another consideration is do you speak Spanish?

Do want to be able to conduct you life totally in Spanish? That can be done in Miami but other parts of South Florida not as much. You can conduct life in English in Miami as well, so if you want a 'Latin Flavor' that is possible as well.

With your budget you can pick any area you want... Perhaps come visit for a while and try different areas out. Or perhaps if you have friends or family you may want to be near( or far LOL) from them

(BTW not saying that speaking Spanish is good or bad. I speak Spanish fluently and working on Portugese)

For everything together. Housing part is up to $6K or so.

If you want help, you've got to stop being so cryptic.

You can do a lot with 6K for rental budget. Look at NMB/Sunny Isles if you'd like to be on the water..

If you are white American then Miami is probably not for you, unless you speak Spanish and just really love the culture.

Yes, your race/background is going to play a large part in your happiness.

New England Wasps? Fort Lauderdale

Long Island Jews? Boca Raton

NYC Hispanic? Miami
