Hello Everyone....

I am a single male 35yr old Real Estate Broker In New York.

I think I need a change and have I have been thinking about moving to Florida for some time now...

Many years ago I lived on the west coast, clearwater.. and loved it, but I am open to any area as long as there are people my age within.

I need help...I want to live in an area where the age ranges from 25-45, as many singles as possible..lol Great beaches, nice dining....

I enjoy working out on a regular basis, and keeping fit. So I would prefer to be in an area where the people think alike....

Can anyone help...thanks

If you plan on coming here to continue your real estate career, your timing couldn't be worse. But, I am guessing you already keeps tabs on such things and are already aware of the problems in Florida.

Let me give you a analogy.

real estate and credit bubble = nuclear missile blast

Florida and California took direct hits

winds are blowing and radiation is starting to appear in NYC.

Why would you move to ground zero, given your sector is directly affected? Maybe wait another year or two, until things get really bad in NYC for real estate; then move here. By then things will be stabilizing here and you may be able to earn a decent living.

just my two cents.
