Hello all, first thread here :-)

question!

my front neighbor is renting the house Hialeah style. I mean like ten different people live there. with efficiency.
Is not my business but, since so many people there they have the same amount of car and they starting using the opposite side of the road to park, the front of my house. they are not blocking my driveway but if i have people coming over they can't find parking because they are tacking the spot. they park on the city park but still that's also a grass i maintain. No HOA either.

What can we do about it? i fell like living in apartment complex and that one of the reason i move to a single family home.

thanks :-)

On another City, far away, we had a similar problem, people from a nearby apartment complex would hog the curb parking in front of houses. A group of neighbors presented a letter to the City and eventually a couple of blocks were designated "2 hour parking", with parking control stopping by every other day, giving out infractions.
Check with City Hall, there may be an ordinance already in place. Also, you can possibly report the unusual rental situation. I bet it is not just occupying parking spots, there may be a trash situation and strange activity in the parked cars.

Sounds like this situation is with parking on the grass swale not a proper curbside. A lot of people put concrete pyramids in the way to discourage people from parking there. If it's an actual curb with city parking, not much you could do apart from getting the City to put a parking restriction. It may be possible to get the City to issue a code violation because of illegally renting it as a multifamily complex in single family zoning.

Landscape it with native trees. That's what I did at mom's house after filling the swale with mud, cow manure and heavy mulch discouraged illegal tenants from parking there.
