I currently live in Pompano Beach but I was offered a great opportunity at Baptist in Kendall. I have been to the area for interviews and met up with couple friends living in the area. It is not that bad, but then again, those were just short visits. For maybe 6 months, I want to rent an efficiency until I start saving money to rent somewhere more personal. Any ideas of where to look for efficiency's online and possibly make appointments to visit them. Or maybe a cheap apt nearby the hospital. I want to minimize the time of my daily commute to work.

Look for studio apartment in South Miami or the Kendall area. Craigslist should be helpful. Best of luck!

There are lots of apartments just north of Dadeland Mall. This is quite close to Baptist Hospital (a great hospital!!!).

lol...I knew Baptist was a great hospital, but wow @ all these extra comments. I feel secure then that I made the decision to accept the offer.

i just retired from baptist after 17 years was very proud to call it my work place a great place i moved to upstate ny but im selling my new just builded house to go back home to miami lived to manny years there
