Is door to door solicitation illegal in Miami, more specifically Miami beach? I have a house cleaning business and I want to know if I can go knocking on people's doors in Miami beach. I'd first start out with the houses then go to those large apartment buildings and door knock there. Thanks

Congratulations on being your own boss and being dynamic.
From what I read you need a "door to door solicitation permit" or else will be considered illegal.
Aside of that, I'm not sure You can just walk into those large apartment buildings and then wander around floor to floor anywhere you wan to to go.

Do yourself a favor, and market instead to real estate companies. You'll be able to reach more people more quickly. I give out the name of my favorite house cleaner regularly.

This.

Most residents hate door-to-door solicitors and paper ads left at our door steps.

I would probably call the authorities on you for loitering, sorry. Just market yourself like previous poster mentioned.
