Good evening CD family, my husband and I are going to South Beach for his 40th. He is from Spain & has never been to Miami. We are also doing the 3 day Bahamas cruise from Norwegian Cruise. What I want to know is what are some good Spanish restaurants that don't serve just tapas? He is from Valencia & is used to Mediterranean dishes (paella, fideua, arroz/rice dishes) I hear Crazy About You is a nice place...but I want to go to a nice Spanish restaurant or Española Way...

Tapa y Tintos on Espanola is nice and it has a flamenco show.. 448 Española Way

By the way, why would you go to a Spanish restaurant when he is from Spain? LOL.. doesnt make sense to me..

to avoid disappointment, i would recommend something else..

Exactly! Nothing will be as good as what he has at home. Perhaps take him to some Cuban food when in Miami? Work to the strengths of an area.

or even Argentine or Brazilian? for that matter do the classic Miami move and go to Joes Crab. Honestly, I doubt any Spanish restaurant here will be up to your standards.
