It's between Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach airports so you could fly into either.
However, West Palm Beach is a more user friendly airport (smaller/less traffic).

Yes, during Urban Weekend (Memorial Day holiday) it could get uncomfortable as a bunch of people form underprivileged areas of Miami pour into South Beach.

Ramada? Marco Polo? That's not South Beach It is in Sunny Isles. Sunny Isles is very safe. It is full of Russians. You see what you started?

Man, Ramada is in Sunny Isles, about 20 minutes North of South Beach. And if you visit Sunny Isles today, you will be amazed.
