How far away can you see Miami's skyline? What points have you seen it from?

You can see the skyline on the Gratigny before you get to Miami Dade North Campus right around Amelia Earhart Park, probably around 10 or so miles. You can also see it from Okeechobee Road all the way down probably by the turnpike or beyond depending how clear the sky is and how many trucks are or aren't blocking your view!

I'm sure you can still see the Miami Skyline from some very tall buildings in Fort Lauderdale. I think you can see the skyline from the northern part of Elliott Key.

Personally, probably the furthest I've been where I saw the skyline was that overpass of the Golden Glades interchange heading southbound on I-95. Either that or somewhere out in Biscayne Bay.

The air traffic controllers at the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood airport control tower say they can see the Miami Tower ( old Centrust building ) lit up at night from 27 miles away.

I work at the Ft. Lauderdale airport and you can see it from the top floor of the parking garage.
