To be fair, B.H is the only successful one. Design District is lame, and BCC is still half empty. And knowing how people in Miami are, they'd rather drive from Brickell to B.H rather than shop at BCC, hell I already witness this everytime I visit haha. BCC, I'll give it another year before I come up with a final conclusion, Design District/Wynwood area is trying too hard to be like L.A but so far it's just tacky.

And don't forget the Shops at Merrick Village...they actually have a few more high end retailers (such as Canali, which I buy from)) that BCC does not...Design District actually has a few high end fashion retail outlets (such as Berluti) that no other SoFla mall has.

Keep in mind sales at/from these malls puts money back into the local economy and has a multiplier effect (sales commissions, etc. that leads to spending elsewhere). The US $ is green no matter the color of the person who spends it or where it comes from (foreign or domestic).

We'll all be anxiously awaiting your informed analysis as to whether BCC is successful.

Speaking of someone not knowing what they're talking about....

It is absolutely clear that you are completely clueless when it comes to Brickell City Centre. You obviously aren't aware that it was developed as a mixed-use project, the retail section of which is encompassed by five towers: a hotel, 2 condo buildings, and 2 office buildings. That mix should provide the retail section with a good mix of residents, office employees, and tourists.

Swire Properties developed the entire Brickell City Centre Project and they've been successful at what they do for almost 50 years. Consequently, I'll choose to believe in their vision and business acumen over some anonymous poster who can barely write a coherent sentence, not to mention a Montreal Millennial who visits Miami occasionally and thinks that that makes him an expert on the area.

^you do know I lived in Miami for almost two decades and moved recently right? so before calling me a Montreal Millennial, maybe you should check your facts first. Second, I have a background in International business, investing in Miami World Centre and know the developer personally (family friend). Third, BCC has potential but atm it's nothing special, hence why I'm giving more time before I come to a personal (keyword personal) conclusion. As for YaTuSabes, I have no idea what you're talking about, perhaps English isn't your first language but please improve your English skills.
