Where do you recommend I consider living in Miami? I am a 35-year old accountant and want to live in an area where other single professionals tend to congregate and there are many activities for singles to participate in.

My best bet would be Downtown Miami. That's where all the single professionals are and where a bunch of people are moving to now. It's a safe, nice, and growing/improving area. I'd stick to Brickell or South Miami. These neighborhoods have a nightlife and very cool restaurants and bars with happy hours that attract singles. South Miami has really transformed itself in the last 2 years and Mary Brickell Village is becoming very popular with the nightlife scene.
