Get the Peking Duck if going to Novikov.....La Petite Maison (French) is also very good.

Hopefully the OP reports back and advises where they ended up.

If in Ft Lauderdale, there is some pretty awesome and iconic places, too. What exactly are you wanting? One thing many visitors don't realize about South Florida is that we are a foodie paradise. Nobody thinks of us that way down here, but we are knee deep in ridiculous good restaurants of all flavors. It's surprising.

So simply "Where should I eat?" - there is about 1,000 spots that are "must do".... can you be more specific?

If you are just looking for a good Italian restaurant, I'd stick in Ft Lauderdale for sure. Louie Bossi, Cafe Martorano, or Casa D'Angelo. For French, if you want to do something special - Palm d'Or.
I'm looking for a French or Italian restaurant in Miami or Fort Lauderdale at less than $150 per person. Does that help?

Thanks for the other suggestions. I will look at them.

Does anyone know if the tasting menu at Palme d'Or includes wine or is that extra?
