All kinds of foreign wealth are good once converted into American dollars. All kinds of foreign influence are bad because America is the best, and there are few cultures that can give Americans advice on how to do things better. Sure, the Japanese could teach us how to make a profit building cars and maybe Israel could teach us how to build a strong wall along our southern border. The Moderator cut: named people influence on standards in Miami is bad. It only brings cheaters, liars, low standards; the usual byproducts of the political and economic turmoil south of the border...

You talk like if all Latinos in Miami were poor, uneducated, unskilled. You seem to forget that a lot of them are hard-working people and a good share of them are college-educated. I don't see how this is making Miami a worse place to live. Remember that these people have had a key role in boosting Miami's economy.

if it weren't for the affluent and successful latin businessmen and women that made Miami what it is today.....awesome.....then we would be up the creek without a paddle. Believe me, latin's made a HUGE impact here.

I meant it in a good way. Latin's are great people with good morals and ethics. There are trashy latin's just as their are trashy white people. Every nationality has their bad apples.

What I like the most about Latin's is that the family' don't kick out the kids at the age of 18 and that they take CARE of their parents instead of throwing them in nursing homes. That pretty much sums up how nurturing they are....they have good hearts.

In that you are right. Without sarcasm there is a lot of love in Latin households, along with some kind of compassionate, complex understanding of sorts. I know of more than a couple Latin households with three generations under one roof... Good food! Fresh avocado with salt and lime!

Wow, another Miami Vice. Foreign wealth in Miami is a good thing, unless it bothers you to see someone foreign, better off than you. I think that's what bothers most of the racist bashers on this forum.
