Hey all,

I’m moving to the Miami area to go to UM Law this fall. I’ve been looking at a few places, and was wondering how safe they were. One was Kendale Lakes, the other South Miami (Coral Gables is almost out of my price range)...are those two areas safe?

Thanks in advance!

Try and live as close as possible to your school. That commute can be brutal.

the only shady area is the north west side of US1....north of Sunset Dr..and directly across from the Shops at Sunset Place
..stay out of that area....the rest of it is fine

I drive to Miami often and even lived in Coral Gables some years ago. Sadly much of Miami today resembles a third world latin country so choose wisely where you hang your hat ... and never invest in Miami because you will regret it big time. Miami reached critical mass years ago as today Miami is pretty much a Cuban controlled city so be aware you will most likely at some point experience racist behavior if you are a white native born American living in Miami.
