Because of the end of Prohibition.

In the early Depression years crime remained pretty much the same as the 1920s, but the years between 1933 and 1936 saw one of the most massive drops in crime in American history mainly because alcohol was legal again, despite the Depression.

When was the last time anyone got killed in the US due to a dispute over alcohol distribution?

This suggests a possible course of action to reduce crime right now.

Default Armored truck robberies Miami

Does anyone remember armored trucks that were robbed by two Cuban men. I think it was in the 70's.

FBI agents followed them and got right next to them in a car.

There was a gun fight in the streets where the two robbers were killed.

I remember this by a movie that was made about it.

I would appreciate any information on this .

Thanks,

Billy

I'm glad they killed one of the robbers. I wish this happened more often, but is usually the poor drivers that get killed.
