Same as always - crime, occasional shooting, car break-ins, etc.

Its a City like any other - pay attention, don't wander the streets at 2am, avoid the tourist traps like Ocean Drive, and you'll love it. Places like Sunset Harbour, South of Fifth, West Ave, etc are all full of locals doing outdoor yoga, riding bikes, eating sushi outdoors, paddleboarding, jet skiing, running/jogging through the parks, etc.

South Beach has something for everyone, you'll see what you want to see

Off duty South Florida cops are now volunteering South Beach patrols on their days off.

The mayor said he will not let his family go to South Beach.

Exactly. Marc is implying things only happen at 2am. They are happening in BROAD daylight. Do not go for your own safety.

I was there on New Years Day, yep, got robbed $500 right at Joes Stone Crab!

Oh, wait, that was just my lunch tab! Stone Crabs were excellent once again!

Be smart and its fine. Side tip: Now due to Covid, Joe's takes reservations!

Spent part of the day at Wynwood and that was fine to but not sure I'd want to be there at 2am on a Tuesday.

Yes, South of Fifth is really nice.

Thought of you yesterday, showed a condo in Edgewater then six at Neo Vertika. Your old downtown stomping ground.

Condos are picking up speed. Three I had scheduled yesterday went pending and two today. All in Brickell or Edgewater.
