I ignore the rain pretty much. I have an umbrella and a towel in the car, solves any issues if there is one. If I come out of the store and it raining, I just go to the car and dry off with the towel, clothes a little wet is no big deal.

During the summer, i am pretty use to being wet in some manner, lol.

If you live in the NW of the USA or anywhere South of Osorno in Chile, you learn how to do ALL your daily chores in Non Stop 5 Days of steady rains.

S Florida is a lot, lot easier that than. UNLESS we are under and extended Low Pressure System, rains come and go fast and furious and really life goes on with no hitches.

Walking around in the rain is no big deal. Driving is a different story though, too many drivers here are barely qualified to be behind the wheel in perfect conditions. Spots in Miami make driving extra hazardous as pooling and puddling can be much deeper than one would expect after only a few days of mild showers... yet you see people blasting through theming lowered civics getting stuck all the time.

The humidity is so high in the summer that the rain feels good.

Actually the winds that come for a minute or so before the soaker, they are cold and dry even in a hot summer day...lovely feeling !!

So used to them, I could be a blind man outside and realize the cooling rains are cominn !!!
